Daykin is based in New York City and shoots across all five boroughs. He is available worldwide for editorial work and private commissions; travel fees apply outside the five boroughs. Request a shoot

How do I book a session, and what happens next?

Choose a package on the Pricing page, then send a request through the Book a shoot form with your preferred date and time. Daykin replies by Instagram or phone to confirm availability, followed by a quick consultation on location, styling and the look you want. A 50% deposit secures your date.

Can I book a photoshoot while visiting New York?

Yes. The NYC Experience packages are built for visitors: The Iconic 5 covers five landmark locations in one six-hour day, and The Custom Route covers three spots you choose, with route planning included. Do you shoot in DUMBO and Brooklyn Bridge Park?

Yes. DUMBO and Brooklyn Bridge Park are home turf, from the Washington Street view of the Manhattan Bridge to the waterfront skyline of Lower Manhattan. Book The Raw Session or The Signature Edit for a one-hour shoot there. See NYC Streets

Can I book a photoshoot in Central Park?

Do you photograph in Times Square or at night?

What is the best time of day for a photoshoot in NYC?

Golden hour (the hour after sunrise or before sunset) gives warm, soft light. Blue hour and night give the cinematic, neon-lit city look. Early mornings also mean fewer crowds at the Brooklyn Bridge, DUMBO and Times Square. Request your date

Do you offer engagement and couples photoshoots in NYC?

Do you take graduation photos in NYC?

Do you shoot fashion, lookbooks or brand content?

Prints

Where can I buy New York City photography prints?

In Daykin’s store. Every print is framed at 13×19 in and made on Canon Pro Platinum 300 g/m² photo paper, in portrait and landscape orientations. Subjects include the Empire State Building, the Brooklyn Bridge, DUMBO, Central Park and the Lower Manhattan skyline. Prints are made to order and all sales are final.
